iQuilt Innovation Center

The iQuilt Innovation Center is Hartford’s first community center focused on urban development. It provides a unique community gathering space where people of all backgrounds can come together to discuss, collaborate, and explore the power of quality design and advocacy which will ultimately contribute to making Hartford a more beautiful, livable, sustainable city.

The Travelers, a supporter of our work, has generously donated a 1000 square-foot storefront space for us to use. This space opened in 2016 and provides walking tours, a LEGO model of Hartford’s iQuilt, and act as a center for advocacy and a location to showcase the iQuilt Partnership’s progress.

Have you stopped by to visit us yet? Here are five things you can do when you come to visit us at 24 Central Row.

  1. Learn more about the iQuilt Partnership - it’s not all ice skating and LEGOs.

  2. Well, some of it is LEGOs. Take a look at LEGO Hartford, tell us your thoughts for the future of our Capital City, and create your own iconic Hartford building.

  3. Play a game of giant Chess with us while learning all about our latest work.

  4. Buy a one-of-a-kind shopping bag, pencil case or portfolio cover, made from recycled banners. We did mention that supplies are limited and the is the only place you can buy them, but proceeds will be used to fund Winterfest Hartford, so you can feel extra-good about buying as many as you can.

  5. Seen person, Constanza Segovia’s iQuilt doodles.

We sells upcycled banner bags at the Center as well. These bags are made from old banners from our partner organizations. Buy a friend a one-of-a-kind shopping bag, pencil case or portfolio cover, made from recycled Hartford street banners. We did mention that supplies are limited,, but proceeds will be used to fund Winterfest Hartford, so you can feel extra-good about buying as many as you can.
